(PS3) Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Multiplayer Is Looking Good

Close up on Nathan Drake's attire for UC3      Lately I have seen a large amount of Uncharted 3 content featured on the PS Blog. This content has ranged from Game Trailers and Demos to Behind the Scenes Peeks and Multiplayer. Today I really want to steer this post into the direction of Uncharted 3's Multiplayer mode. Do not get me wrong, I believe that everything in this game is going to be unbelievably amazing, but I really want to talk about what components and previews of the U3 Multiplayer I have seen and heard so far.      I would like to start off by officially stating that the Multiplayer of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was insanely awesome. I found myself having so much fun and can say that I have lost countless hours of my time devoted to U2's Multiplayer (not as much as I spent devoted to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Multiplayer because I lost 20 full days in total of my life and will never be getting them back). Now I am going to say that after taking

Playstation Store to be Restored by End of the Week

Many Playstation Network users are rejoicing over the announced return of the Playstation Store. For those of you who do not know what the Playstation Store is, allow me to take some time to introduce you to this feature.      The Playstation Store, or PS Store as it can be stated more easily, is an online component provided to registered members of the Playstation Network. The PS Store allows PSN members to download and stream a large variety of content to and from their Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable (PSP) Handhelds. Sony's PS Store offers the PSN users downloadable content; Such as Game Demos, Trailers, Full Movies, Full TV Shows, Downloadable Content (DLC), Full Games, Music, and much more.      Over one month ago the Playstation Network was hacked by an outside force ( evidence points to Hacking Group Anonymous ) and in protective action Sony shutdown the entire Playstation Network. On May 14th, 2011 Sony restored some, but not all, of the Playstation Network

(PS3) Little Big Planet 2 Review

Just a graphic I put together showcasing some, not all, of the cool things about LBP 2.      When you think of a game that grants the player the ability to do what they want, you are thinking of Little Big Planet 2. With over 30 story mode levels, over one million community levels, and the ability granted to the player to do whatever they want to, Little Big Planet 2 is a great investment considering the potential that you acquire with the purchase of one game. This game is a must have for anyone, and everyone who owns a Playstation 3. What can I expect when I first launch my copy of Little Big Planet 2?      When you launch your copy of Little Big Planet 2 on you PS3 for the first time you are given the option to transfer all of your content from the original Little Big Planet, provided you are logged into the account that you used to play Little Big Planet. This feature enables all of your content from LBP 1 to be used in LBP 2. This was a great feature provided by Media Mol

(PS3) Problems Arrise with LA Noire Edition for PS3 Console

Now that the Playstation Network is back up, it appears that many people are having troubles with the LA Noire PS3 release of the game. It is apparent to most that this version of the game lags at times, and overheats the PS3 console causing the system to perform a force shutdown. The precise problem of the defect is not clear. Could it be the actual game, or the recent release of PS3 Firmware update that was distributed in order to get the PSN back up and running. No one at this moment knows for sure, but it is clear that both Sony and Rockstar games are investigating the problem.      From the comments that I have come across while researching this problem, I have noticed that many people say that they experiece the issues playing LA Noire on the Original 60 GB Fat Model of the Playstation 3. If you would like to learn more about this issue, please visit the Official Playstation Blog at http://www.blog.us.playstation.com/ .

Call of Duty Black Ops and Killzone 3 Double XP Events this Weekend for Playstation Users

This weekend Sony is releasing an array of special events. Two of these events involves giving Playstation gamers a Double XP Weekend for both Call of Duty: Black Ops and Killzone 3 Multiplayer Modes. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Double XP Weekend is a given for PS3 owners because all PSN users missed out on a recent Double XP Weekend while the network was put down for a pro-longed period of time.      The Call of Duty: Black Ops Double XP weekend will be exclusive to PS3 owners and last from Friday May 20th, to Tuesday May 24th. Treyarch is also releasing a Nuketown only playlist (Nuketown 24/7) to give players a place to go to get even more XP. Since Nuketown is an extremely small Map, players will find themselves racking up more kills and objectives. When you combine the potential of Nuketown with a Double XP weekend you have yourself a slice of Call of Duty Paradise.       Killzone 3 is celebrating the PSN recovery as well with a Welcome Back to Killzone 3 Double XP weekend

(PS3) Twisted Metal: This Game Looks Amazing

I for one usually hate games involving driving vehicles, but I guess I am going to have to make an exception for the upcoming release of Twisted Metal for Playstation 3 (Click to Visit Pre-Order Page at Amazon) . This game amazes me with it's ability to allow so much more than just the boring old concept of driving a car. I have a whole lot to say about this game, but I just can't find the words to describe it. The video below will introduce you the pure mayhem and awesomeness of Twisted Metal for PS3. The second video will introduce you, in a way, to the Multiplayer aspects of the game. Twisted Metal Trailer Twisted Metal Multiplayer: Hands On (PS Blog)

(PS3) inFamous 2 Hero Edition Package: What is included?

Infamous 2 is a game developed by Sucker Punch Studios and is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2011. As of now the game is available for pre-order through many in-store and online retailers. The reason that I am posting this post is because I think that it is necessary for everyone to to know about all of the options available to them before they make a decision to purchase a product. Come on, I know everyone second guesses themselves when making "life-changing" decisions (this product is probably not as life-changing as most). Today I am going to introduce you to the inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition  that is available to purchase through many online retailers, one of which happens to be Amazon.com: View this product on Amazon.com Now.      The guys at Sucker Punch seemed to have packed a whole load on content into the inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition . This package is just $40.00 more than just the game alone (so in total $100.00 USD) and comes with a variety of extra content.

PSN Hackers Verified: At Last the Hacking Group has Been Confirmed

Finally the group of Playstation Network hackers who spawned the recent PSN outage are now confirmed. The group behind this hacking is finally confirmed, even though most of you already knew this. "We discovered that the intruders had planted a file on one of our Sony Online Entertainment servers named “Anonymous” with the words “We are Legion.” "  -Patrick Seybold PS Blog      Hacker Group Anonymous is behind it and wants everyone to know including Sony. The group made sure that everyone knew it was them by uploading a file titled "Anonymous" and with the text "We are Legion". After compiling a google search of both quoted terms together it comes up with the following page at the very top:  http://www.yalelawtech.org/anonymity-online-identity/we-are-anonymous-we-are-legion/
