Uncharted 2: The Lab Weekend August 06th to the 09th

REMINDER: The Lab – Co-op Crushing

The Lab is back with some custom Co-op fun. This weekend Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has opened with the Lab. The Lab is open for Uncharted 2 every other weekend with various experimental game modes. This weekend's Lab game mode is Co-op Crushing. What this means is all of the original Co-op game modes (Siege, Survival, and Gold Rush) are available in the hardest playable difficulty in Uncharted 2, Crushing.

With all honesty I am not impressed with Naughty Dog this weekend. I believe, this may or may not be true, that because of this weekend's Lab, all games that I have entered this weekend have lagged, been slow, and even have glitched out. I have no sure idea why, but I believe that because of the Lab, all game modes have been crappy. I really do hope that they fix this problem soon.

Now for a simple and brief review of this game mode. First of all, I have to give props to Naughty Dog (even though the server quality this weekend is so far horrible) because they have, in my opinion, given the players of Uncharted 2 a challenge. In this game mode players will need to stick together to the best of their abilities. In one game I had found myself alone on the side of the map opposite to my team. This did not end well for me because I was taken by surprise by one of those annoying hostiles that grapple you into a choke hold. Due to me being so far away from team mates I was killed and out for the round. Another tip would be to have Bluetooth headsets. These communication devices give the players a more cooperative and team like experience. Informing your fellow players about where hostiles are after you have died and are viewing the multiple camera views all over the map is a good way to progress through the game.

I am glad to report, not so much ashamed, that the highest round I have gotten too this weekend is round four. This proves that Naughty Dog has provided a challenge for the new and addicted players of Uncharted 2. There are 10 rounds total for all cooperative games. Good luck and have fun this weekend!

Gotham City Impostors Combines FPS with Superheroes

How incredible is this? Gotham City Impostors appears to have all the elements of a classic First Person Shooter combined with all the fun and unpredictability of the the heroes and villains of Gotham City.      Basically, the entire plot of this game is "When Batman is away, Impostors will play." Their are two teams that are dedicated to battling out by all means necessary. The Batman impostors who dress up as closely as they can to the caped crusader, look completely unprofessional. They are not what you would expect Batman to look like, but that is the entire point of this game. On the other team lies the maniacal Joker impostors who make themselves useful by going on insane rants when the real Batman is busy.      Gotham City Impostors is an all multiplayer game and will be available for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in  early 2012. This game will be download only, so if you are interested you might want to have a way...
