      Yes! Resistance 3 is available and believe it or not (you probably should) their is downloadable content available. With a copy of Resistance 3, an internet connected Playstation 3 Console, and a Playstation Network account you can get yourself some fresh content to use to your advantage against those darn Chimera.          Ah yes, the first package of premium DLC for Resistance 3 multiplayer, the Survival Pack. This content pack delivers an awesome new game mode and a good set of character skins for Resistance 3 players to rock out in. Along with the in-game content comes a piece of exterior content, or a theme for your Playstation's XMB (Cross Media Bar). The Resistance 3 Survival Pack can be downloaded for a decent price of $3.99 through the Playstation Store.

It is here, and looking good.      It has been somewhere around three long years since the release of Resistance 2, and today Resistance 3 is available at all retailers across North America. Now mankind's fight against the Chimera can continue as you assume the role of Joseph Capelli in his quest to traverse North America and reach his ultimate destination, New York City. Oh yeah, an expect to be mowing down all sorts of Chimeran spawns along the way.      Take the single-player campaign even further by engaging in firefights with Chimera, and holding off against hordes of Grims, or in description lanky zombie like creatures, alongside a friend either in good old local split-screen, or online.      You can also expect to see a fully customizable multiplayer experience based on your personal style of play. The overall goal of the developers was to create a unique multiplayer experience by putting forth an "only in Resistance" ...

       For those of you who purchased the recently released SOCOM 4, and received an early access Beta code for Resistance 3, the time that you can finally redeem your code is coming August 4th, 2011. That is right, starting August 4th all of you guys, gals, and whatever else you could be can redeem your Resistance 3 Early Access Beta codes.      All of you PS Plus Members will be granted access to the Beta on August 23rd, 2011. So far there is no word on if the Beta will be released to the general PSN community.
