Have you just been dieing to use the Starhawk beta code that you found nestled in with your copy of Uncharted 3? Well, the time has come.    

Starting on December 24th Rockstar Games will be offering all Red Dead Redemption players a chance to earn double experience points, with the addition of triple xp on the weekends of 12/24-12/25 and 12/31-01/01.          InFAMOUS 2 does indeed hold an action packed (dare I say electrifying) element to it, but it also has a creative component. Gamers who have their hands on a copy of this game can create their own custom missions, or UGCs (User Generated Content). Now Sucker Punch, the developers, are announcing an "InFAMOUS 2 Mission Design Contest."       First prize will be $1,000.00 in Playstation Store Credit along with a featured post on the PS Blog showcasing your awesome level.      The Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Beta is sure to be an exciting one. With players getting a chance to immerse themselves into DICE's upcoming masterpiece for free, they should find out fast whether or not this game is worth the buy.      The Beta period is going to be open to the entire public on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC starting September 29th, 2011. As of now it is not clear whether or not the download for PS3 and 360 will be available through the Playstation Store, or Xbox Live Marketplace.      The Assassins Creed: Revelations Multiplayer Beta is going great and is now open to all Playstation Network users. When the beta was initially released, it was set aside for use by, and only by Playstation Plus members. Now everyone can get into some killer free running maneuvers, and breathtaking takedowns as they assume the role of an Assassin.           One of the downsides of not being a PS Plus subscriber, is that you only get access to the beta for a mere three days. The beta will officially go offline and be deemed unusable on September 11th, 2011. So if you are into the whole Assassins Creed franchise, this is a great way to get a hands on experience with the upcoming release.

      Everyone who has either Little Big Planet, or Little Big Planet 2 knows that every once and a while Media Molecule, the developers, release a free costume for a limited time. Starting on September 7th, 2011 a new free costume will be available for download via Playstation Store.      This World Peace Day costume will be available, as it appears in the description, forever. So you shouldn't have to hustle over the PS Store right away. However, I would download it as soon as possible, you know, just in case I am wrong.       This costume comes with an Earthly Hat for your little Sackthing to prance around in, a stylish looking shirt with a white Pigeon in the center, and flag boasting the universal sign of peace (no, really it is a peace sign).        For those of you who purchased the recently released SOCOM 4, and received an early access Beta code for Resistance 3, the time that you can finally redeem your code is coming August 4th, 2011. That is right, starting August 4th all of you guys, gals, and whatever else you could be can redeem your Resistance 3 Early Access Beta codes.      All of you PS Plus Members will be granted access to the Beta on August 23rd, 2011. So far there is no word on if the Beta will be released to the general PSN community. If you are one of the people who will be granted access to the Beta on August 4th, I would love to hear from you in the comments.

     This weekend Sony is releasing an array of special events. Two of these events involves giving Playstation gamers a Double XP Weekend for both Call of Duty: Black Ops and Killzone 3 Multiplayer Modes. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Double XP Weekend is a given for PS3 owners because all PSN users missed out on a recent Double XP Weekend while the network was put down for a pro-longed period of time.      The Call of Duty: Black Ops Double XP weekend will be exclusive to PS3 owners and last from Friday May 20th, to Tuesday May 24th. Treyarch is also releasing a Nuketown only playlist (Nuketown 24/7) to give players a place to go to get even more XP. Since Nuketown is an extremely small Map, players will find themselves racking up more kills and objectives. Happy 1st MAG             MAG has reached it's first birthday and according to a post by Jeremy Dunham from Zipper Interactive on the Official Playstation Blog  this week is going to be filled with a bunch of freakin' sweet opportunities. You will be able to earn 256% xp for "Happy Hour" and "In-Game Bonuses". Another awesome touch to this Promotion is that all Maps in MAG will become faction neutral, so if you have been wanting to start on the S.V.E.R side of Absheron Refinery as Valor in Domination, you can do so until January 30th. "Our third and final promotion is a special “Faction Neutral” switch for the Domination and Acquisition modes. For the first time ever in  MAG  “Live,” our two biggest game types will switch from being PMC-specific to being open for defense by any of our three factions.
