Resistance 3 Multiplayer Beta Hits Playstation Early August

      For those of you who purchased the recently released SOCOM 4, and received an early access Beta code for Resistance 3, the time that you can finally redeem your code is coming August 4th, 2011. That is right, starting August 4th all of you guys, gals, and whatever else you could be can redeem your Resistance 3 Early Access Beta codes.

     All of you PS Plus Members will be granted access to the Beta on August 23rd, 2011. So far there is no word on if the Beta will be released to the general PSN community. If you are one of the people who will be granted access to the Beta on August 4th, I would love to hear from you in the comments.

Uncharted 3: First Map Pack Brings 4 Awesome Maps

Naughty Dog came out earlier today to announce their first batch of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception download-able content for 2012. Get ready for a bundle of maps rebuilt from the previous game, Uncharted 2, as well as a wide variety of your favorite Uncharted characters “pre Weight Watchers” style. Naughty Dog is bringing back four sweet maps from Uncharted 2: The Cave, Fort, Lost City, and Sanctuary maps are now part of the playing field in Uncharted 3. “Dynamic lighting effects, new particle effects and a slew of technical changes have been made to these maps” which in turn revamps the four original Among Thieves maps. Without a subscription to the Fortune Hunters Club DLC Pass the map pack will cost $9.99 USD.
