(DLC) Little Big Planet 2: InFAMOUS 2 Pack

Lets start this post off with some verbal imagery. Imagine an insanely awesome hero with, I don't know, powers that let him harness electricity. Then combine this hero with an a rag doll that is known for prancing around aimlessly to gather prize bubbles filled with goodies. You may be wondering what the chemical reaction between these two elements would be. Simple! An InFAMOUS 2 costume pack for Media Molecule's Little Big Planet 2.      Now fans of Little Big Planet can show off their loyalty to InFAMOUS by styling off a Cole McGrath costume. The InFAMOUS 2 Mini Pack comes loaded with costumes and stickers for gamers to use in their attempt to be creative.      The InFAMOUS 2 Mini Pack comes with 2 costumes, both the Good Karma Cole and the Evil Karma Cole. In addition to the costumes come a nice set of InFAMOUS 2 themed stickers. Get this DLC pack for $2.99 by visiting the Playstation Store.

Little Big Planet 2: Free Jet with Parachute

I usually am not so much into the self-promoting mumbo jumbo, but I figured I might as well share my newest Little Big Planet 2 creation.      The level allows you to pilot a Jet, one that I of course created from scratch. The Jet has many features, such as retractable wheels, weaponry capabilities, and my favorite is the ability to eject from the cockpit and deploy a parachute for your Sackthing.      The level takes place on an Aircraft carrier in the middle of the ocean. Although this level has no primary objective for the Jet to complete, it still can prove to be fun while testing the aircraft.      Best of all, I am giving the Jet, along with a Parachute and customized Rocket away for free.  Check out Free Jet with Parachute on LBP.Me and Add it to Your Little Big Planet Queue

Little Big Planet 2: Community Level of the Week

Congratulations, you are reading my first ever Little Big Planet 2: Community Level of the Week. My objective with this is to let people around the world know about the awesome user created levels that I have played and fell in love with every week. I do hope you do find some fun with these awe inspiring levels that will make you press the D-Pad arrow up three times and show off the ecstatic face of your little Sackthing.

Little Big Planet 2: Free Costume Coming September 7th, 2011

Everyone who has either Little Big Planet, or Little Big Planet 2 knows that every once and a while Media Molecule, the developers, release a free costume for a limited time. Starting on September 7th, 2011 a new free costume will be available for download via Playstation Store.      This World Peace Day costume will be available, as it appears in the description, forever. So you shouldn't have to hustle over the PS Store right away. However, I would download it as soon as possible, you know, just in case I am wrong.       This costume comes with an Earthly Hat for your little Sackthing to prance around in, a stylish looking shirt with a white Pigeon in the center, and flag boasting the universal sign of peace (no, really it is a peace sign). You can take a look at this upcoming costume, visually of course, by checking out the images below. Be sure to check back here at the Swoboda Reviews blog for al...

Little Big Planet 2: Free Costume Coming August 10th, 2011

Starting on August 10th, 2011 a brand new limited edition costume will be available for download via Playstation Store.      This costume is being released for free thanks to a meteor shower known as the Perseids (August 13th, 2011 is when the event is supposed to occur). Don't worry, the meteor shower is in no way going to effect human life.      The Perseids costume will only be available for download from August 10th, 2011 to August 16th, 2011, so it is strongly suggested that you take advantage of this opportunity, because who knows when this costume will be available again.         Contents Perseids Helmet, Perseids Costume, Perseids Skin, Perseids Costume

Little Big Planet 2: Create Mode Tips

So you have gotten your hands on a copy of Little Big Planet 2 and want to know the basics to the games notorious, for good reasons, Create Mode. Have no fear because in today's post I am going to introduce you to basic, yet helpful, ways of maximizing your creation potential.      When designing your level you are going to want to leave the background of the level blank. Doing this will make it a whole lot easier to pay attention to the elements you are working on, rather than a dynamic background. Keeping the level background blank will also provide you with the best lighting to work with. Face it people, it is extremely hard to craft a level when you can barely see what you are doing.      Avoid using objects that you earned from through out the story mode. No one will enjoy your level if it is filled with the objects created by the game's developers. Instead try creating your own machines, gadgets, or whatever. When you...

Little Big Planet 2: How to Control Sackbots with a Controllinator

So you are wondering how on Earth would you be able to use a Controllinator to control a Sackbot in Little Big Planet 2? Hopefully I will be able to help you with this.      Today's post will hopefully teach all of you interested Little Big Planet 2 players how to use a Controllinator to control a Sackbot. I would like to start off first by saying this process is not as hard as you would expect it to be. Step 1: Retrieve a blank Sackbot from your Tools Bag in the Create Mode Poppit Menu. After placing the Sackbot into the foreground open up it's Microchip by clicking the R1 button. Step 2: Retrieve a Controllinator from the Tools Bag and place it on the Sackbot's Microchip. Press Square to Tweak the Controllinator's setting. Set the Controllinator to a Receiver. From here on out there are 2 different ways you could use. Both ways depend on your preference. The first and easiest way allows you to control the Sackbot with the use of a M...

(PS3) Little Big Planet 2 Review

Just a graphic I put together showcasing some, not all, of the cool things about LBP 2.      When you think of a game that grants the player the ability to do what they want, you are thinking of Little Big Planet 2. With over 30 story mode levels, over one million community levels, and the ability granted to the player to do whatever they want to, Little Big Planet 2 is a great investment considering the potential that you acquire with the purchase of one game. This game is a must have for anyone, and everyone who owns a Playstation 3. What can I expect when I first launch my copy of Little Big Planet 2?      When you launch your copy of Little Big Planet 2 on you PS3 for the first time you are given the option to transfer all of your content from the original Little Big Planet, provided you are logged into the account that you used to play Little Big Planet. This feature enables all of your content from LBP 1 to be used in LBP 2. This wa...

Little Big Planet 2: First Impressions

Most of you already know that Little Big Planet 2 was released for purchase on January 18th, earlier this year, and now I have received my very own copy of the game from Amazon.com for an astonishing low price of $53.00. Something that I am kind of upset about now though is that, as you can see from the Amazon product link above, you can purchase a brand new copy for $8.00 cheaper than what I payed for it. However I do not feel it is something that I should let fester, so now I am going to give you guys a "look" at my opinion, or impressions of the game so far.      After about six days of having my copy of Little Big Planet 2 I have traveled through four very differing story mode worlds. There is still more story mode levels that I myself need to jump into, but believe me I get easily distracted and sucked into the infamous Create Mode, a mode that is known for devouring the time, and sometimes the patience of a player. I for on...

Little Big Planet 2 Shows Potential

Media Molecule, probably not too long ago, chose 12 active and gifted Little Big Planet 2 community members to create a whole load of levels showcasing the potential of Little Big Planet 2.  Media Molecule posted the following information on the United States Playstation Blog: "We’ve been keeping a secret! We’ve challenged 12 community members to create an EPIC storyline and playable levels in LittleBigPlanet 2 . We wanted to see if they could create a full game experience within LBP2 – filled with cut-scenes, bosses and even mini-games. Great news is they’re almost finished and we wanted to give you a sneak peek of what they’ve been working on. Introducing…’Hansel & Gretelbot.’" Read the Official Post on the Playstation Blog for more Information.
