Roxio's GameCap HD PRO Edition Review

Earlier this week I went about conducting a review on the EasyCap DC60 USB video capture card. This review came out of the excitement of the end of an age, for me atleast. What I mean by the end of an "age", is that I will no longer be using that mediocre capture card for content in the future. A new age of content recording has begun. This new age involves me and my Roxio GameCap HD Pro Edition video capture card and let me tell you, this partnership is looking amazing.

Roxio's GameCap HD Pro is an intuitive piece of technology. The device, to my understanding, conducts all of the major video processing in the initial card, rather than requiring your computer to stress out. I can't tell you how many times I have struggled in the past with the DC60 not being able to stay on track with video input through the rendering process. I would loose frames constantly, the initial video would come out of the recording process in a "choppy" manner, and the audio would just not coincide with the proper frame. With the GameCap this problem is virtually non-existent. It's incredible!

Roxio Quality 720p

Another feature that comes equipped with the GameCap HD is a copy of it's own video recording and editing software. Let me tell you, recording your gameplays has never been so easier. All you need to do is plug in your device, using the USB adapter, open up the Recording software and hit a single button. The fact alone that it shipped with an actual useable software has sold me.

The Roxio GameCap HD Pro is truly a remarkable device, which promotes ease of use and high quality recordings. All in all, I highly recommend this capture card.

Have you used the Roxio GameCap HD Pro capture card?

Naughty Dog is bringing back four sweet maps from Uncharted 2: The Cave, Fort, Lost City, and Sanctuary maps are now part of the playing field in Uncharted 3. “Dynamic lighting effects, new particle effects and a slew of technical changes have been made to these maps” which in turn revamps the four original Among Thieves maps. Without a subscription to the Fortune Hunters Club DLC Pass the map pack will cost $9.99 USD. In addition to the brand new maps, come the implementation of an “Uncharted Donut Pack” so you can play as your favorite Uncharted character, but in the pudgy overweight "donut" form. Also in the works is a brand new character skin pack which will open th
