Little Big Planet 2: Community Level of the Week for September 14th

This week's level comes from Little Big Planet community member DrunkenFist_Lee, who developed this creation and says that he crafted it to go beyond the simple gameplay. The plan set forth by the creator was "to transport you to an ethereal world of wonder" and leave the player with something to think about. So DrunkenFist_Lee, you have definitely developed a level that has an amazing amount of detail and events. Unfortunately, I was not able to get an in-depth feel for this level beyond a mere three minutes of time due to the fact that my connection was a bit choppy, so I am afraid that I can not provide you with a premise, or main idea if you will, for this level. What I can do is provide you with the style of detail that this level showcases.
The detail in this level is amazing. I know that a lot of levels have potential to uphold breathtaking visuals and contraptions, but this level is unexplainable. For the small amount of time that I did play, I found myself s…

(PSN) Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Save on DLC Bundle

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Why so much over-exaggerated excitement you may ask? Perhaps because an amazing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 DLC sale on the Playstation Store. Yep, it is apparent that with Battlefield 3 set to release in a month, EA and DICE are attempting to get all the money they can for Bad Company 2, before the soon to be "FPS King" takes the throne.

All of the Battlefield: BC 2 DLC will be available, in a bundle of course, for 30% off of the original price for all the content packs combined, and PS Plus Subscribers can save even more when they purchase this bundle. This package includes the Vietnam, Onslaught, and perhaps VIP membership to unlock a decent amount of exclusive maps. Don't expect these deals to last to long, because as fast as sales come, they can leave even faster.

Assassins Creed: Revelations PSN Multiplayer Beta Public Access

The Assassins Creed: Revelations Multiplayer Beta is going great and is now open to all Playstation Network users. When the beta was initially released, it was set aside for use by, and only by Playstation Plus members. Now everyone can get into some killer free running maneuvers, and breathtaking takedowns as they assume the role of an Assassin.

One of the downsides of not being a PS Plus subscriber, is that you only get access to the beta for a mere three days. The beta will officially go offline and be deemed unusable on September 11th, 2011. So if you are into the whole Assassins Creed franchise, this is a great way to get a hands on experience with the upcoming release.

Battlefiled 3: Possible 2 Disc Release for XBOX 360

For those of you XBOX 360 owners, this is a bit of a rumor, more so than a confirmed detail.
Battlefield 3 for XBOX 360 may come with not one, but two discs. This is most likely, if at all, due to the games massive content amount. One disc will contain the single-player campaign, while the other will contain the massive online portion.

Please keep in mind that this is not a confirmed detail
The above image states that the XBOX 360 version will include "DVD-ROMx2", while the Playstation 3 version will include "BD-ROMx1."

Little Big Planet 2: Free Costume Coming September 7th, 2011

Everyone who has either Little Big Planet, or Little Big Planet 2 knows that every once and a while Media Molecule, the developers, release a free costume for a limited time. Starting on September 7th, 2011 a new free costume will be available for download via Playstation Store.

This World Peace Day costume will be available, as it appears in the description, forever. So you shouldn't have to hustle over the PS Store right away. However, I would download it as soon as possible, you know, just in case I am wrong.

This costume comes with an Earthly Hat for your little Sackthing to prance around in, a stylish looking shirt with a white Pigeon in the center, and flag boasting the universal sign of peace (no, really it is a peace sign). You can take a look at this upcoming costume, visually of course, by checking out the images below.

Be sure to check back here at the Swoboda Reviews blog for all of the upcoming free Little Big Planet Costumes before you miss out on…
