Top 5 Call of Duty Killstreaks

Call of Duty has brought a wide variety of killstreaks for the past few years. Here are my Top 5.
It's really a love hate relationship. Sometimes those demonic Call of Duty killstreaks can be enough to piss people off, especially when they are being used against you. In anger you end up cursing at the stupid camper who racked up a 25 kill streak, calls in a Tactical Nuke, and ends the game. What could possibly be fun about a game ending killstreak?

On the other hand there are some killstreak rewards that are just plain old fun. So take a break from the rest of the world and get some sweet one-on-one time with my opinion of the Top 5 Call of Duty Killstreaks so far.

1. Attack Dogs (World at War, Black Ops)

If you have climbed the ranks in either Call of Duty: World at War or Black Ops, you probably have had a few run-ins with the scary as hell attack dogs. In World at War these dogs were the highest killstreak achievable for a total of 7 kills in a row.

Two years following the release of World at War, these ferocious hounds returned as a killstreak in Black Ops and became available for a total of 11 kills in a row.

Will we see them in the next Call of Duty release?

2. UAV (COD 4, World at War, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3)

The UAV could possibly be one of the most used killstreaks in Call of Duty history. For Call of Duty: 4 Modern Warfare and World at War the UAV was featured as one of the three available killstreaks. Since then the UAV killstreak has been included in all releases. The UAV is one of the easiest killstreak rewards to acquire since it is usually set a streak of 3.

Who doesn't like the ability to take a quick glance at enemy locations?

3. Care Package (Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3)

The amazing care package that bring you random killstreaks to use to your advantage. Sometimes you will get lucky and get a killstreak that is worth more than the care package. Sometimes you will get stuck with a counter UAV.

A care package is like a box of chocalates. You never know what you're gonna' get.

4. Chopper Gunner (Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3)

The Chopper Gunner pretty much abducts you, like a UFO, and throws you into a chopper hovering over the rest of the map. You then get the ability mow down unsuspecting enemies with a mini-gun (explosive round after explosive round).

When this feature first appeared in Modern Warfare 2 it was used as the second step to make a nuclear bomb (first step: acquire a 7 killstreak and call in a Harrier Strike, or Pave Low).

The chopper gunner was always fun (if you were the won sending the firepower).

Does the Chopper Gunner deserve to make the Top 5?

5. Sentry Gun (Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3)
Computer controlled machine gun! Computer controlled machine gun! If you are like me and got into the action of Modern Warfare 2 you probably have been mowed down by some lazy asshole's sentry gun. This killstreak was a great idea on Infinity Ward's part. They must of known that gamers wanted to rack up kills without having to do anything. Just plop one of these suckers someplace high and watch as this ruthless turret kill the opposing team twice.

What is even better about these unmanned machine guns is that the only way to take it out is from behind with your knife. Good fun!

Do Sentry Guns make you angry?
